In this paper, we analyze theoretically and experimentally the performance of fiber Bragg gratings as temperature sensors. These sensors have potential applications in monitoring the temperature in aerospace structures and smart structures. Index Terms Fiber Bragg Gratings, Optical Fibers and Temperature Sensors.
